第一套 勝戰計 原始涵義

第1計　瞞天過海: 隱瞞真實意圖的欺瞞手法。

第2計　圍魏救趙: 魏國圍攻趙國首都-邯鄲，趙國求救於齊國，齊國派兵直搗魏國首都-大樑，魏軍被迫撤回。

第3計　借刀殺人: 借別人的刀來殺人，比喻假他人之手去害人。

第4計　以逸待勞: 以安逸等待疲憊的敵人，則可勝。

第5計　趁火打劫: 趁別人家裡失火時搶劫。乘人之危從中取利。

第6計　聲東擊西: 表面裝作要打東邊，實際己方主力攻擊西邊。

第二套 敵戰計 原始涵義

第7計　無中生有: 本來無其事，憑空捏造。

        原出於老子:天下萬物生於有，有生於無。不過意義已不同

第8計　暗渡陳倉: 出其不意、從旁突擊；暗中進行活動(附註3)

第9計  隔岸觀火: 隔著河川或溪流，在對岸看火災；因為事不關己，所以能夠袖手旁觀，漠不關心。

第10計　笑裡藏刀: 外貌和善可親，內心卻陰險狠毒。。

第11計　李代桃僵: 李樹代替桃樹被蟲咬而枯死。代替他人受苦。

第12計　順手牽羊: 乘機取走他人財物。

第三套 攻戰計 原始涵義

第13計　打草驚蛇: 擊打草叢以嚇走蛇。某A受到驚嚇，而使某B、某C等人知道要有所警惕。。

第14計　借屍還魂: 死後靈魂附著於他人屍體而復活。

第15計　調虎離山: 引誘老虎離開牠經常盤踞的山頭。用計使對方的主力或對方的強者，離開他的據點，以便趁虛而入、借機行事。

第16計　欲擒故縱: 為了捉住而故意放手；為了要使對方受制於我，我故意先放寬一步。

第17計　抛磚引玉: 自己先發表意見，以引出別人的佳作或高論。 

第18計　擒賊擒王: 打擊敵人要先擊敗帶頭的；其他人會失去鬥志

第四套 混戰計 原始涵義

第19計　釜底抽薪: 從鍋底抽掉柴火。比喻從根本上解決問題。。

第20計　混水摸魚: 在混濁的水中撈魚，趁混亂的時機謀取利益。

第21計　金蟬脫殼: 蟬脫去外殼蛻變，利用假像或分身來脫身。

第22計　關門捉賊: 關起門來捉賊，以免賊人跑掉。

第23計　遠交近攻: 親近遠方國家，攻伐鄰近國家的外交手段。

第24計　假途滅虢: 向對方借路為名，行滅亡對方之實。

第五套 並戰計 原始涵義

第25計　偷樑換柱: 暗中改變事物的內容、性質。

第26計　指桑駡槐: 拐彎抹角地罵人。

第27計　假癡不癲: 假裝是癡呆，實際上很精明。

第28計　上屋抽梯: 先設置好梯子，顯示出有方便上屋的梯子。誘人爬高梯，然後搬走梯子，使其進退無路，只得就範。

第29計　樹上開花: 投資本錢以賺取利潤。

第30計　反客為主: 變被動的為主動的或變次要的為主要的。

第六套 敗戰計 原始涵義

第31計　美人計: 用美女/美男誘惑他人；用心愛之物誘惑他人。

第32計　空城計: 一座空城卻讓人不敢奪取；或者奪之無用。

第33計　反間計: 兩面間諜，先裝作幫甲弄乙，其實卻幫乙弄甲。

第34計　苦肉計: 三國演義，黃蓋詐降於曹操，周瑜先痛打一頓。

第35計　連環計: 一計套一計。

第36計　走為上: 先逃走再說。
