Yuan Shu wrote a letter urging Sun Jian to attack Liu Biao.

While in Nanyang, Yuan Shu heard of Yuan Shao's newly acquired territory, Jizhou, and was filled with envy and jealousy!

Eager to share in the spoils, he sent an envoy requesting a thousand horses.

Yuan Shao refused, and Yuan Shu was furious. From then on, the brothers fell out.

Yuan Shu then sent an envoy to Jingzhou to ask Liu Biao to borrow 200,000 grains, but Liu Biao also refused.

Frustrated by this situation, Yuan Shu secretly sent a letter to Sun Jian, urging him to attack Liu Biao.

💥 故事六：袁術的信件

袁術在南陽，聽說袁紹剛拿下冀州，就派人去向袁紹要一千匹馬。袁紹不答應，袁術非常生氣，兄弟倆從此關係變差。

袁術又派人去荊州，向劉表借二十萬石(容量單位)糧食，劉表也不肯給。袁術心裡怨恨，便暗中派人寫信給孫堅，希望他去攻打劉表。

信的大意是這樣的：

「之前劉表截斷你的回程，其實是袁紹出的主意。現在袁紹又跟劉表秘密商量，想攻打你的江東。你最好快派兵去打劉表。我會替你對付袁紹，兩個仇家都能報。你奪荊州，我奪冀州，千萬不要錯過機會！」

孫堅收到信後生氣地說：「可惡的劉表！當初阻擋我回家就算了，現在正是報仇的好時機，不打更待何時！」

他便召集程普、黃蓋、韓當等人一起商量。

程普說：「袁術這個人很奸詐，不能全信他的話。」孫堅說：「我本來就想報仇，又不是靠他才去打！」

於是他派黃蓋先去江邊準備戰船，裝載武器、糧草，大船還載上戰馬，一切安排好後準備出兵。

江上的密探把消息報給劉表，劉表大吃一驚，急忙召集文武官員討論對策。

蒯良說：「不必太擔心。可以讓黃祖帶江夏的士兵打前陣，主公再領荊州、襄陽的軍隊支援。孫堅要跨江渡湖而來，他在水面上根本無法施展武力。」劉表採納他的建議，命黃祖準備防備，自己也隨後率軍出發。

發起事件的導火線，

也不可以用「我收到一封信」、「我收到一封令我生氣的信」。

因為那樣看起來就像，變成別人的提線木偶。

要找更合理的理由。

2. 袁術送信的舉動，算的上高明嗎? 高明在何處?  

袁術送信的舉動，是:借刀殺人。

借用:孫堅這把刀，去殺劉表。

平平無奇的招式，不算高明。

不過，在亂世之中，招式有用就好，

就會符合霸主的需求:讓其他強大的對手，自相殘殺，霸主就可以:

鷸蚌相爭、漁翁得利。螳螂捕蟬、黃雀在後。

鷸蚌相爭、漁翁得利: 鷸這種鳥，想吃蚌殼內的肉、蚌就用殼，夾住鷸的嘴喙，不讓牠得逞。雙方互不相讓的競爭、造成僵持不下的局面，結局會造成兩敗俱傷，而讓後來的第三方，將雙方捕獲，獲得所有的利益。出自:戰國策的燕策二。通常用來說明:雙方僵持不下，會有隱藏的第三方獲益者。當事人雙方要警惕。

螳螂捕蟬、黃雀在後: 螳螂只顧著捕捉蟬，同一時間螳螂卻不知有鳥 (黃雀) 在螳螂身後正準備要啄食牠。出自:莊子的山木篇。通常用來說明:思慮並不周延、眼光短淺，只貪圖眼前的利益，而忽略背後隱藏的危險。或者:一環套一環，又或者:某甲、某乙、某丙，某乙想要得到某甲，某乙太專注，所以忽略:某丙可能在某乙想要得到某甲，的過程當中，某丙趁某乙不注意吃掉牠。

不要被:奇怪的信件或訊息，挑起不存在的仇恨，又或者被:奇怪的信件或訊息，導致你更改原先自己的發展計劃，變更自己原來的發展目標，及或是變動發展過程的良好安排。這個教育的過程，是要告訴你:要有自己的判斷。用理性引導自己的激情。

另有一說:袁術送信的舉動，是:借刀殺人。借用:孫堅這把刀，去殺劉表。

算: 高明。自己還活著，豈能不算高明? 就算很蠢，或許:傻人有傻福。

這封袁術送的信，讓孫堅、劉表兩邊互相敵視。

表示:孫堅易被指揮。

三國演義所營造的，孫堅的喜怒容易被勾起，

沒有辦法放下個人恩怨，以整個陣營的得失為考量。

身為一個集團的負責人，要以大局為重、集團整體的得失為得失；要放下個人的恩怨，以集團的利益為利益考量。不可以將個人恩怨凌駕於集團的發展目標之上。

4. 袁術送信的舉動，如果算是高明，為何後來袁術在群雄逐鹿之中失敗?  

因為袁術就只有這封信，集團或謀士，也沒有針對孫堅、劉表進行後續行動。

5. 如果穿梭超時空，這幾個人買賣股票，誰最有可能因為衝動而慘賠？ 為甚麼? 

孫堅、程普、韓當、劉表、蒯良、呂公。大概是: 孫堅。

⚔️ Story 8 : Yuan Shao's Letter

Yuan Shao stationed his army in Hanoi, and food supplies were dwindling. At this time, Han Fu, the governor of Ji Province, sent provisions to support Yuan Shao's army.

Yuan Shao's strategist, Feng Ji, said to him, "A great man like you, General, who aspires to make a name for yourself, how can you rely on others for provisions? Ji Province is rich in both food and wealth; why don't you take it yourself?" Yuan Shao replied, "I don't have a good plan yet." Feng Ji then said, "You can secretly send a letter to Gongsun Zan, asking him to attack Ji Province, and agreeing to a pincer attack. Gongsun Zan will definitely send troops. Han Fu is incompetent; he will surely ask you to help manage Ji Province. Taking Ji Province then will be as easy as reaching out and grabbing something." Yuan Shao was overjoyed and immediately sent the letter to Gongsun Zan.

Upon receiving the letter, Gongsun Zan was overjoyed to learn that Yuan Shao was willing to cooperate in attacking Ji Province and even share the land. He immediately began preparing his army and setting out.

Yuan Shao then secretly informed Han Fu of this. Han Fu was terrified and immediately summoned his advisors Xun Chen and Xin Ping for advice.

Xun Chen said, "Gongsun Zan is rapidly advancing with a large army from Yan and Dai. His offensive is difficult to withstand, and he also has the support of Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. Resistance will be extremely difficult. Yuan Shao is both wise and brave, and he has many capable generals under his command. General, you can invite Yuan Shao to jointly govern Ji Province. He will certainly treat you well, and in this way, you will have nothing to fear from Gongsun Zan."

Soon afterward, Yuan Shao took control of Ji Province.

Han Fu's Ji Province was stolen by Yuan Shao.
