愛與擁抱、推倒高牆 Love and Hug, Tear down the walls

親愛的市民同胞、年輕朋友、大朋友、小朋友（以及許許多多可愛的毛孩子們），大家午安、大家好。感謝各位帶著歡欣鼓舞的心情，一起以愛擁抱台北，以嘉年華的心情迎接即將來到的市長選舉，並期望改變可以成真。

Dear fellow citizens, young people, elder friends and children (and many, many lovely feather kids). Good afternoon, Hello, everyone. Thank you with exultant mood, together hug Taipei with love to face the upcoming mayoral election in carnival mood. And hope change can come.

從中正紀念堂的自由廣場到台北市政府的市民廣場，代表在「開放政府、全民參與」的理念之下，我們要讓台北市民走進台北市政府，參與市政成為這個城市的主人。今天下午沿路上，我看到繽紛的色彩、無數的創意以及各位朋友的笑容。感謝各位，我們做到了，我們一起改變了台灣的政治文化，選舉不再是悲情和恐嚇，而是光明和喜樂。

From Freedom Square ( Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall) to the Taipei City Government's public square, on behalf of the "open government, public participation" under the concept. We have to let people into the Taipei City Government, Taipei, participate in municipal become the masters of the city. This afternoon along the road, I saw the colors, countless ideas and friendly smile. Thank you all.We did it, we were changing the political culture in Taiwan, the election is no longer tragic and intimidation, but light and joy.

現在，我要拜託各位市民朋友，看看你身邊的人，無論是熟悉或陌生的，請你看看身邊的朋友。我們在燦爛的陽光底下、踏著親切的土地，呼吸著同樣的空氣、享受這一刻的美好。你和我，在這一座城市安身立命，你我的家人未來也將寄託在這座城市，你和我，從來都沒有不一樣。

Now, I want to you look around you, whether familiar or unfamiliar, please take a look around your friends. We are under the bright sun, marching friendly land, breathing the same air, and enjoy this wonderful moment. You and I want to settle down in this city, our family will be pinned in the city, you and me, never been different.

過去，由於意識型態的對立，這座城市豎起了一道隱形而冰冷的高牆。這道高牆隔絕了你我，這道高牆把我們分成藍綠、統獨、國民和皇民；牆的兩邊，互相仇恨、互相叫罵、互相對立。這座高牆，不知何時出現的？也不知道存在多少年了？但是卻折磨著我們的親情、友情與愛情。

In the past, because of ideological opposition, the city put up an invisible and cold walls. This wall, put us into blue-green, unification and independence, national and imperial people; both sides of the wall, mutual hatred, shouting to each other, mutually exclusive. This wall, I do not know when it appeared? How long it have been existence? But it afflicts our family, friendship and love.

今天，柯文哲站在這裡，要和所有的市民一起，用愛與擁抱，推倒這座高牆。從此時此刻開始，結束對立、結束叫罵、結束仇恨。改變台灣，從首都開始。改變台北，從文化開始。這是一場以文化為主體的社會運動。事實上，這是台灣歷史上第一次以改變政治文化當作訴求的選戰。現在讓我們以愛為名，進行這一場改變文化的社會運動：推倒高牆、以愛擁抱台北。

Today, stand here to be together with all people, with love and embrace , tear down this wall. From now on, end opposite, shouting and hatred. Change Taiwan from the capital. Change Taipei from culture. This is a social movement that put culture as the main part . In fact, this is the first time in Taiwan's history to change the political culture as the demands of the campaign. Now let's in the name of love, make this change in the culture of social movements: tear down the walls, to hug Taipei.

今天的嘉年華遊行，柯文哲和各位朋友高高興興、快快樂樂走到台北市政府；相對之下，昨天的遊行，有人在另一頭全家抱頭痛哭，場面很悲情。但是我認為政治努力的目標是要使人民快樂而非悲傷。當然目前台灣社會仍有一些要克服的問題。例如：貧富差距、社會資源分配不公平，居住正義不公平、教育資源不公平，這些都是我們要推倒的高牆。

Today's Carnival parade, we were happily, happily walked the Taipei City Government. On the contrast, someone cried at the other end of another parade yesterday, and the scene is very tragic. But I think the goal of political efforts is to make people happy rather than sad. Of course, the current Taiwanese society still have some problems to overcome. For example: the gap between rich and poor, unfair distribution of social resources, housing and justice is not fair, not fair education resources, these are the walls we must tear down.

親愛的市民朋友，以前我們總是告訴孩子：「你要聽話」，聽爸爸媽媽的話、聽老師的話、聽大人的話⋯⋯我們許諾孩子一個安全的家，卻看著他們在決策反覆的十二年國教當中盲目奔波甚至哭泣。我們想給孩子一個溫暖的家，一個遮風避雨的所在。然而，家是房東的、是銀行的，是財團的。就算買了房子，沉重的房貸讓我們成為終生的屋奴。我們想放手讓孩子自由飛翔，卻發現前面築起了一道又一道難以克服的高牆。我們必須集合起來用選票推倒這些高牆，公義使邦國高舉、和解讓城市重生。在高牆倒下的那一剎那，這塊土地將重新升起愛與和平。

Dear citizens friend, we all used to tell the kids: "You have to listen to" listen to the words of the father and mother, listen to the teacher, listening to adults ⋯⋯ We promise children a safe home, but watching them over and over again in the decision-making of the twelve year period education system blindly rushing even cry.
